MOTHER'S DAY 2013

I want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!!!!!  This day has so many meanings for me this year.  First I want to express to all those whose hearts desire is to be a mom and you have not been blessed with children, your time will come. It may not be through your womb, but God's will may be for you to adopt!  God has not called everyone to be a mother, but becoming a mother in any way is truly a blessing.  I pray for you ladies out there that may be having a hard time with this special day.

Next, I want to say Happy Mother's day to my mom! She truly is an amazing lady.  I have never been the perfect child, and there have been times where I have been down right disrespectful to her.  This past year has been an eye opener for me with the amount of unconditional love she has given all three of her daughters.  She didn't have a mom growng up, and lived in a group home for the majority of her childhood. When she became a mom, she stayed at home to raise us, and that wasn't easy. There were alot of hard times, she has told me stories where we didn't have enough money & she would do things like melt three small bars of soap on the stove to form one big enough to use.  Growing up, i don't remember not having things, I know it was b/c she sacrificed so much for us! She taught us the most important thing in life, love.  Out of three kids, all three of us have Christ in our hearts.  through her modeling unconditional love, we were led to our savior, and through Him we have eternal life. There is no greater gift that you can give to anyone than that.    I am  thankful she never gave up on me!

I now have kids of my own, and I realize how hard her job was.  I have been blessed with kids from my womb, and kids that are from my heart womb.   I love kids!  I don't care where they come from!   Being a mom isn't about growing a child, it is about loving a child.  Loving them where they are, and accepting them where they are.  Teaching them about unconditional love, and giving them a safe place they can come when they are at the end of their road!  It's about having your heart tramped on and torn in a million pieces, but being willing to forget it happened. It's a 24/7 job, one that I am so blessed to do!

HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY TO ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL LADIES!!!!!!
