Our foster kids have arrived! We recieved a call on january 27th that they needed to place an 8 year old and 1 year old girl. Age 8 was older than we wanted, but we figured God probably had a plan that was different than ours, so we agreed! They have been with us for almost 3 weeks now, and it is going great! It is definitely a challenge with two one year olds in the house, and I really can't go anywhere with them, but I am enjoying this soooo much! Watching the two little babies interact is priceless!
The older one "F" is slowly starting to adjust, it has been hard for her, she has had no contact with her BM since the 28th, b/c her phone was shut off. I can't even imagine how she is feeling. I am sure she feels alone and abandoned. Poor little thing.
As I sit here I look around at my family and I am the happiest I think I have ever been! I have a wonderful husband, we are adopting Megan our new 18 year old daughter, we have been blessed with three biological children, and the 2 foster kids in our home are so sweet, and who knows may be our future kids! I love being a mom, it is the best calling on earth! I am truly amazed at the work God is doing in our family and I praise Him for all his blessings he has bestowed on us! What an awesome God we serve!
